description Located on Sturgeon Bay, Potawatomi has gently rolling upland terrain bordered by steep slopes and rugged limestone cliffs along two and a half miles of Sturgeon Bay shoreline. A 75-foot observation tower rises above the forest canopy, giving a panoramic view of Sawyer Harbor. On a clear day, the view from the park's observation tower reaches 16 miles across Green Bay. The Park features summer and winter activities, with hiking / biking trails, boat launch accessible fishing pier and a cabin for people with disabilities (ADA accessible).
drivingDirection From I-43 in Green Bay take Hwy 57 North to Door County. Turn left on County Hwy PD and follow 2.5 miles to the park entrance.

importantInformation The South Loop of the campground is open for reservations from 04/01 - 10/31 each year. The North Loop's sites are open for reservations from 05/01 - 10/31 each year, except for the following sites which are available on a first-come, first-served basis: Sites 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118, 120, 122, 124. Winter camping available on first come/first served basis 11/01 - 03/31 in the South Loop. Sites 22, 24, 26, and 28 will be plowed. Site 002 in the South Loop, is for the camp host. Site 004DISP in the South Loop, is for ADA campers only and is on 1st come / 1st served basis year round. The shower building and dump station are generally open for the season by the first weekend in May; they are closed for the winter around mid-October. Vehicle admission stickers are required. Reservation season April 1, 2015 through October 30, 2015 Shower/flush toilet buildings open approximately May 1, 2015. Shower/flush toilet buildings close approximately October 20, 2015. Dump station open approximately May 1, 2015. Dump Station Closes approximately October 20, 2015. These facilities are weather dependent and dates can change.
